The Sound of Lanna
TONELAB — Lanna Ambiance is a music project rooted in the cultural heartland of Northern Thailand. Every piece begins in nature — the rustling of bamboo forests, distant temple bells, rain on ancient stone — captured live with professional field recorders.
These recordings are woven together with the warm resonance of nylon-string guitar, the plucked timbre of the traditional Sueng, the bowed voice of the Saw Lo, and carefully layered pad atmospheres. Some works include traditional vocal styles: Chang So and Joi.
All music is created, performed and produced entirely by real humans — no AI-generated instruments or sounds. Finished works are released globally via TuneCore in both Stereo and Dolby Atmos formats.
